County residents will see two new faces around the County of Wheatland administrative buildings.
Marty Bozak and Ben Mendoza join the Protective Services and Fire, Emergency and Safety department.
“I am looking forward to interacting with staff in a positive environment and helping the safety programs grow,” said Bozak, who takes on the role of Health and Safety Officer.
His family relocated from Leslieville, where he worked twelve years with Clearwater County. He has 10 years experience in agriculture and two years in the safety field. His position will involve mostly internal work, developing and inspecting safety programs within county departments and liaison with local fire departments.
Mendoza will be taking on the duties of Peace Officer, ensuring bylaw compliance, traffic duties and dealing with animal control issues. He has a broad employment experience but his interest lies in criminal justice. Previously, he worked as a constable with the RCMP.
“I look forward to working with the community and establishing great relationships with the county residents,” said Mendoza.
