Gordon passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 30.  Gordon was the only child of Helen & Albert Bishop of Langdon, AB.  He was born and raised on the generational family farm.  He studied Agricultural Mechanics at SAIT before coming home to grow his own family.  Throughout his life, Gordon enjoyed playing baseball and curling, 4-H, playing cards, travelling, visiting with friends and spending time with his grandchildren.  He loved his animals and treated his cattle as if they were pets.  Gordon is a respected steward of the land, reliable community supporter and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He is deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Christine, son Geoff (Sherry), daughter Jennifer (Josh) and grandkids Alex and Julianna.  The family invites anyone who knew Gordon to Celebrate his Life at the Indus Recreation Center on Friday November 13 at 2:00pm.
