With deep sadness I wish to announce the passing of my dear husband Lyall Alexander Curry on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the age of 94 years. Lyall was born, raised and continued ranching on his parents homestead at Square Deal, Alberta. Lyall was a kind,m generous person that loved world affairs, he was a political junkie and read “The Economist” from cover to cover for many years of his life. Lyall is survived by his loving wife Carol, sons Ed (Kris), Clayton (Jean), Greg (Rhonda), daughter Karen, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother-in-law Sid Brander and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters, Adele Robb, Ina Brander, and Leone Curry and brother-in-law Charlie Robb. At Lyall’s request there will be no funeral service. If friends so choose, please make donations to the Adele Curry Robb Scholarship Fund for students from the Special Areas attending Olds College.
