Crash claims life and sends two to hospital

Two women were transported to the Strathmore hospital following a collision with a motorcyclist over the weekend in Wheatland County.
Emergency crews, from Beiseker and Strathmore, attended the scene on June 6 after responding to a call around 1:30 p.m. The driver of the motorcycle, believed to be in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two women, who are both in their late 80s, were taken to the hospital by ambulance but were said to be in stable condition. The crash between the car and motorcycle occurred on Highway 21 and Township Road 272.
The names of the deceased or the injured have not yet been released.
