Stinn, Howard Joseph

 

Howard passed away suddenly on December 25, 2010 at the age of 77 years.  He was born in Calgary on November 8, 1933 to Albert and Cecilia Stinn.  He was raised on the family farm in Rockyford and farmed there until his retirement in 2008.  Howard is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Greta; son Jason and wife Diane; beloved grandchildren Ryan, Meghan and Kyle; sisters Merna Keeler and Eileen Verweire; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents; brothers Fred “Budd”, and Terry; and sister Delores.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Rockyford, at 11:00 a.m.  Interment St. Rita’s Catholic Cemetery.  If desired, donations may be made directly to STARS Air Ambulance (Box 570, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 8M7).  To send condolences please visit www.wheatlandfuneralhome.ca.  WHEATLAND FUNERAL HOME LTD.
