MORTON, Bill (Pops)
1938-2016

It is with sadness that the family announces Bill’s passing on July 21, 2016 at the Calgary Foothills Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Doris; and his 8 children, Tracy (Ken), Scott (Jill), Jodi (Doug), Kelly (Melanie), Katherine, Doreen (Jim), Dalynne (Ralph) and Darwin; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, his brother Cliff (Lynne), two uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bill retired from the Alberta Wheat Pool in 1998. He was actively involved in hunting, hockey, curling, fastball and slow-pitch.
His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Carseland Community Hall in Carseland, Alberta on Railway Avenue West.
After the service, a game of scrub ball will follow. If you wish to participate, please bring your own equipment, “road pop” drink and chairs.
In lieu of flowers, Bill asked to have donations be made to the Wheatland Hospice, Box 2154, Strathmore, Alberta, T1P 1K2
