Cooper, Ronald Joseph (Joe)

November 29, 1951- April 25,2014 

 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joe Cooper at the Santuari Hospice in Calgary. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Kelly Barrett of Strathmore, his daughter Cheryl Doupovec of Calgary, his son Ron Cooper of Vancouver, his two grandchildren Brendon and Luke Doupovec and 11 siblings throughout Canada. Joe was employed by the City of Calgary for 33 years. 

Joe’s passions in life were fishing, golfing, camping and motor biking. He enjoyed adventurous trips driving unusual back roads while listening to his music. He loved every genre of music and radio plays. Joe was a proud Papa, Father, Uncle, Brother, Spouse and Friend. 

The family would like to extend their appreciation for the considerate, compassionate care Joe received while at the Foothills Hospital and the Santuari Hospice.
