Marlene Ruth Faint passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025. Her passing has reunited her with her beloved husband, Alan and daughter, Jackie.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Shirley (Rod), Michael (Judy) and Derek (Karen); seven grandchildren and their spouses; and ten great grandchildren.
Marlene was a gifted storyteller whose love for sports and unwavering strength enriched every life she touched. Her warm, captivating narratives—whether sharing fond memories of days gone by or celebrating life’s challenges and triumphs—brought comfort and inspiration to all who had the pleasure of listening. Fondly known as Big Nana to her great grandchildren, Marlene cherished sharing highlights of their sports triumphs. Her witty, heartfelt stories celebrated each achievement and brought joy to all who listened.
Marlene was an extraordinary woman and her remarkable spirit, humor, and resilience will be forever remembered by those who knew her.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Agape Hospice as well as Wheatland Lodge for the compassion and care they provided, bringing comfort and peace to Marlene and her family.
