Burne,Micheal James
Micheal James Burne, known affectionately to friends and family as Mike, brought his unique blend of humor and heart to the world on October 27, 1975, in Calgary, AB. He took his final bow on January 30, 2025.
Mike’s early years were spent mastering the art of mischief at High School Cluny Bow Valley, where he was as creative with his homework excuses as he was with his guitar solos. He carried that creativity into adulthood, becoming a Class 1 Driver who could navigate the roads with the same finesse he strummed his six strings. But Mike wasn’t just about horsepower and heavy loads; he was a volunteer firefighter, and a hazmat officer always ready to trade a punchline for a fire line when duty called.
Mike leaves behind a legacy of laughter in his sons Eddie, Mack, and Olie, who will carry on his knack for turning everyday moments into comedy gold. He is survived by his loving mother Candie, his father, Jim, and sister, Cara, who will miss his quick wit and boundless energy, as will his aunts, uncles, cousins, and a chorus of friends.
