John Mark Kettenbach, 67, of Rockyford, Alberta passed away surrounded by family on January 17, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta.

Mark was born on August 28, 1957, to Frank and Mary Kettenbach and was the 4th of 7 kids. He grew up in Rockyford, AB and eventually settled within a mile of the home farm to raise his own family. Mark had a love of cars, a good hot tub and farming, but his greatest love was his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Mark is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ardis, his children Brett Kettenbach (Myranda) of Rockyford and Kristina Moore (Cale) of Calgary, and granddaughters, Alice, Eliza, Hattie and Lexi. He is also survived by his mother Mary Kettenbach, brothers Will (Teri), Ed (Joanne) and Ray (Nancy) and sisters MaryAnn and Amy (Ralph – deceased), as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Frank Kettenbach and brother Fred. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Rockyford Community Centre. 

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Rockyford Lions Club.
