Lukacs,Sandra Charlene

August 13, 1959- April 10, 2024 

Sandra (Sandy) Charlene Lukacs, age 64 of Wheatland County lost her battle with cancer surrounded by family on April 10, 2024 

Sandy was born in Cardston to Lou and CJ Callaway, raised in Calgary, and the eldest of three siblings. Her brother Shane, and sister Cheryl described her as a trailblazer testing the waters for her younger siblings. She started her career right out of high school with the government of Alberta and worked as a social worker for 38 years. Her loyalty and determination were unmatched. She will be fondly remembered for her optimist, her generosity, and her thoughtfulness towards others. Her greatest joy was spending time with and spoiling her grandson Charlie, gardening, crafting, and listening to Elvis. She will be dearly missed and remembered with tremendous amounts of love.  

Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Randall Lukacs, her two sons, Matthew and Sheldon Lukacs (Erica Lukacs), her grandson Charlie, and her mother Lou Callaway. She will be forever remembered by her siblings Shane Callaway (Michelle Callaway), and Cheryl Callaway.  

Her celebration of life will be at her beloved Strathmore United Church on May 4th 2024 at 11am.
