Christine Gosteli, beloved wife of Mr. Fritz Gosteli of Cheadle, Alberta, passed away at Sagewood AgeCare Home on  May 23, 2022 at the age of 82 years.  She was the loving mother of Sonja Christine Gosteli of Turner Valley, Alberta and James Roger Gosteli of Cheadle, Alberta; and will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Liam Gosteli and Aryanna Gosteli.  Christine will be lovingly remembered by her sister Regina Volkmann and brother Manfred Alexander and families.  She was predeceased by her husband Fritz Gosteli on 5 May 2009, her brother Edelhard on 9 Oct 1998, her mother Martha Alexander on 8 May 1999, her brother Gerhart in Sep 2007, her sister Elli on 31 Jul 2008, and her brother Siegfied on 24 Apr 2022.  Born in Sensburg, East Prussian, Germany – today known as Mragowo in Poland to parents Max Grzybienski and Martha Alexander.  She lived the majority of her childhood in Gelsenkirchen Germany with her 7 siblings (3 sisters and 4 brothers). In 1957 Christine came to Canada where she would meet a handsome and talented young Swiss man, Fritz Gosteli, and they would marry in December 1960. Together they built a beautiful home and farm in Cheadle Alberta where they would grow a large garden and raise their children.  Christine was well-known for her beautiful silk flower arrangements and crafts that she would sell at local farmers markets and fairs. She had an eye for colour and enjoyed nurturing her flower gardens. Her kitchen was always filled with the inviting aroma of good German meals. Always a warm greeting and kind words to anyone, Christine exuded incredible gratitude for the smallest of kind gestures.  She was the true epitome of Unconditional Love.
