Strathmore Wheatland Wellness Project is here for you
By Megan Stefanich Strathmore Wheatland Wellness Project
Are you looking for support? Are you trying to find resources to make your life easier? If so, the Strathmore Wheatland Wellness Resource Project may be useful for you. This non-crisis phone line and website connects residents of Strathmore and Wheatland County with local initiatives and sources of support.
While the focus of the project is mental health resources, SW Wellness can point you in the right direction no matter what type of support you may need, be it government programming, LGBTQ support, grief and bereavement groups and more. For example, recently a caller phoned in looking for someone to talk to. The caller described feeling frustrated and needed someone who could hear her story and figure out some next steps with her. We were able to connect her with a peer support program that fit her needs and provided her with relief.
If you too need help finding support, are experiencing isolation, or just struggling in general, visit our website www.swwellness.ca, or call our non-crisis line at 403-962-0167 to see what we can do for you. You deserve support.
