Strathmore & District Agricultural Society announces 2021 Strathmore Stampede entertainment

By Strathmore & District Agricultural Society

The Strathmore Stampede is approaching quickly! It’s time to put the boots on Strathmore and announce this year’s entertainment for the 2021 Strathmore Stampede!

After a long year-and-a-half of staying at home we have ensured that this year’s Stampede is better than ever with an action-packed weekend for our fans. From July 30 to Aug. 2, we have a fantastic lineup, so hold onto your seats, it’s going to be a wild ride!

We have a handful of new things to do this year including a Mechanical Bull, free of charge. Show off your cowboy moves and try to get the highest score to get on the Benchmark Beat the Bull scoreboard by Royal LePage. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. After riding the bull, head over to watch Extreme Dogs. These high flying, extreme sport, wickedly talented athletic animals capture the hearts of hundreds of thousands coast to coast.

The Magic Bean Show will be joining us to educate everyone on farm safety. The Strathmore Gymnastics Club has partnered up with the Strathmore Stampede to provide parents with a fun area for their kiddos. Drop the kids off for an hour and go enjoy a beer with your partner. Christopher Cool, our favourite magician, will also be coming back to spend the long weekend with us!

The midway will be returning this year, so make sure to pre-purchase your midway tickets and save $5! After some time away, the Heavy Horse Pull is back and ready to roll! Check them out in the Heritage Arena during the weekend.

If you’re looking for great music, the Strathmore Stampede has turned it up a notch this year. Friday night Joel Ostrom and the Tin Star Band will be performing on the main stage and later on Sunday, Joel will be at the Pendleton Trackside performing! Saturday, we have Renegade Station performing at the Cowboy Cabaret and Kevin Knopf headlining the stage on the grounds! It’ll be a boot stompin’ good time! Chris LeBlanc will also be coming back to the Stampede grounds to provide some tunes. You can catch him on the stage Saturday afternoon and Sunday night as our headliner. Stick around after LeBlanc’s performance to catch some awesome fireworks.

Don’t forget to check out the new addition to the Strathmore Stampede this year – Friday Night Lights featuring Gord Bamford & GlobalFest Fireworks presented by HeckYa.ca! Pair your Friday night chuckwagon ticket with this event and save $10! The Pro Rodeo and Chuckwagon races will also be happening all four days and tickets are available now.

Whether it’s your first rodeo, or you’re a seasoned expert, we can guarantee you’ll have a great time at the 2021 Strathmore Stampede. Tickets on sale now!
