HOLM NIELSEN, Sharon Jean

Sharon Jean Holm, beloved wife of the late Roy Holm of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Prince of Peace Manor on August 5, 2020 at the age of 78 years.  Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her seventeen nieces and nephews, several cousins, and many friends.  She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Lottie Robinson, stepmother Ruth Robinson, and her husband Roy Holm.  Sharon was married to Roy from 38 years.  She spent those years living in Standard, AB, helping on the farm, golfing, gardening, and in various community activities.  Sharon loved the large family she married into and never missed a family get-together.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made in Sharon’s name to the Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.ca/Home).  A Memorial Service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Chapel, 1605 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with a Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.  Due to COVID-19, our chapel has a maximum capacity of 100 guests, and both social distancing and masks are required.  To express condolences, please visit: www.mountainviewmemorial.ca.
