Joan Eileen LaRocke (nee Mannix), born July 7 1949, passed away peacefully in her 70th year on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Age-Care Sagewood in Strathmore, Alberta with her loving family surrounding her.
Born in Calgary, AB, Joan moved to the Strathmore area in 1979.
Joan was the youngest daughter of Helen Olive Mannix (nee Jacobson) and Norris Alberta Mannix.
She leaves behind her only son Robert (Dean) LaRocke, his partner Anita Baillargeon, her only sister Terry Marlene Rice, brother in law Robert Rice, and longtime companion of 20 + years Harold (Butch) Grey.
The family has chosen no service; Joan will be cremated as per her wishes.
