Watt, Doris Eileen
August 12, 1918 – February 24, 2018

Our Mum went to be with Jesus on the 24th February 2018. She passed peacefully at Sagewood, Strathmore with her Canadian family at her side. She was 99 and a half and had lived a long and full life.
Doris was born in Bulawayo Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), married her school friend, John Watt, in 1940 after attending nursing school for four years.
Doris was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Watt, in 1991 and her son Ken Watt in 2015.
She was also predeceased by her three sisters, Edna, Ida and Hilda and a brother Alan. Her one surviving brother, John Wreford, lives in Wisconsin, U.S.A.
She will live on in all of our memories. She came to Canada with her husband in 1983, from a little town called Macheke, Zimbabwe, to settle near to her two daughters, Beryl (Peter) Ascott of Strathmore and Joan Brint of Calgary. She has a son, Roger (Dawn) Watt in Cape Town, South Africa.
She leaves a family of four generations to carry on her memory. Beryl and Peter, Joan Brint, Roger and Dawn Watt.
Nine grandchildren – Sharon (Don) Coulter, Dianne Ascott, Carol (Paul) Valadao, Derek Brint, Kelvin Watt, Mark Watt. Ashleigh Watt. Gary Watt, Tracy Brodziak
Her great grandchildren are Katie Coulter, Rance (Melissa) Coulter, Brianne (Ethan)Wilson, Jazlyn , Meghan and Darren Valadao, Nicola and Kristofer Watt, Matthew and Emma Brodziak, Sophia and Zac Watt and Rebecca Watt.
Her Great Great Grand children are, Emmett and Memphis Coulter, and Lennon Wilson.
A celebration for Mum’s life will be held at the Hope Community Church on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 3 p.m.
