It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother on January 18, 2026, at the age of 88 in Strathmore.

Mary Anne was born in Bassano, Alberta on December 11, 1937. She went to school in Chancellor. As a young lady, she moved to Calgary and worked in the oil and gas industry. She met Eldon and they were married in 1958. Together they purchased some land and started their farming life. Mom worked hard growing a large garden and looking after their yard and family. She was a great cook and often had family for supper and special occasions. Mom and dad loved travelling, dancing and having a good time. She loved nothing more than having a Kokanee on ice. They made the most of life. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchil dren.

Mary Anne is survived by her children Barry, Allan and Carol (Jay); grandchildren Kassandra (Greg}, Ayllissa, Brandon (Sarah), Kimberly (Eric) and Kristine (Allan); and nine great grandchildren.

Mary Anne was predeceased by her husband Eldon; parents John and Mary; brothers John, George and Carl; and sister-in-law Betty. She is survived by sister-in-laws Billy, Sharon, Beth, Carol and Marcelle and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was awesome. A small family memorial will be held at a later date.
