Winkler,Evelyn Clare (neé Ramsay) 

Evelyn Clare Winkler (neé Ramsay) passed away May 6, 2025 at the age of 80 years. Evelyn grew up on a farm near Strathmore, AB, the oldest child of Andrew (Tuffy) and Viola Ramsay. In 1964, Evelyn married Darly Winkler and together they proceeded to grow their farm and their family near Indus, AB for 60 years. Evelyn is survived by her four siblings; Ellen Ramsay (Vern Pointmeier), Susan (Sterling) Holwegner, Shelia Ramsay (Doug Larsen), and Michael (Francine) Ramsay; her four children, Kevin (Tanja) Winkler, Michele Konschuh, Doug (Shelagh) Winkler and Steve (Katherine) Winkler; eight grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a force of nature. She was intelligent, energetic, fiercely independent and strong. She will be remembered for her beautiful yard, gardening, cooking, cleaning, contributing to the community and improving the world around her. A celebration of life will be planned for Evelyn and Daryl at a later date.
