Cecilia Watt (nee Madsen) passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025 in Strathmore. Cec was born February 3, 1938, to Charles and Esther (Reiffenstein) Madsen, and grew up in Chancellor and Standard with her brothers Glennis, Bruce and Robert.

In 1958, Cec married Jim Watt from Rosebud, and together they raised five children in Standard; Sheldon (Laurie), Dawn (Phil), Traci (Mike), Janelle (Rob) and Tara (Adrian). They were blessed with 13 grandchildren: Jennifer (Greg), Michelle (Gil), Marc, Kai, Tanner, Danika (Kyle), David, Raeanne (Wyatt), Ethan, Cole, Kegan, Jessalyn and Bodey and four great grandchildren Tessa, Lincoln, Maclan and Emilia. She also leaves behind her brothers Bruce (Rusty) and Robert (Loralee), and sister-in-laws Colleen Julian and Joy Whittaker.

Cec was predeceased by her husband Jim in 2003, her brother Glennis in 2022 and her son Sheldon in 2024. Service of remembrance will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Standard Community Hall at 2:00 pm. See full obituary at Wheatland Funeral Home.
