Stead,Linda Mary (Cochrane)  

May 15, 1924 – October 18, 2018

Linda Mary Stead (Cochrane) passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, after her short but courageous battle with cancer. 

She was predeceased by her mother Elsie, father Alexander, sisters Dorinne and Jean. She is survived by her brothers Don and Jed, children Michael Stead, David (Veronique) Stead, and Jennifer (Jonathan) Shevalier, as well as her 4 grand children Lilyana, Charles, Adalyn, and Noelle. 

The youngest of 5, Linda grew up in Regina. Settling in Strathmore where she raised her 3 children. She gave back to the community in many ways with her time with Scouting, The United Church, Victim Services, and The Heritage Society. In her later years she spent her days with her good friends and grandchildren when not giving back to the community she loved so dearly. 

Donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Strathmore United Church.
