We are very sad to inform you that our beloved son, husband, and father Paul Salmon passed away peacefully from cancer with his family at his side on July 30, 2025, at the age of 61. He immigrated to Calgary, AB from England with his family at 12 years old. He loved soccer, especially his favorite home team Liverpool where he was born. 

Paul lived for his Monday night men’s league and golfing with “the boys”. He was a part of the Strathmore Golf Club for well over a decade and golfed every chance he got, including volunteering as a marshal during his illness when he could. 

Paul was a mechanic for 44 years and he spent the last 24 years as a valued employee at Strathmore Motor Products. Whenever family or friends had car troubles Paul was always ready and willing to come to the rescue.  

In his last months he loved to sit outside in the sun taking in the fresh air, he was an outdoors kind of guy!

Paul is survived by his wife Cindy Salmon, daughter Brittany Kersey (Trevor), son Travis Salmon, daughter Taylor Salmon, daughter Shaynne Salmon, son Nicholas Salmon, grandchildren Phoenix Hawkings and Kayli Warren, Mum Marg Salmon, brother Steve Salmon (Darla), sister Vicky Salmon and her children Tyler and Emma. He is predeceased by his father Eric Salmon, sister Jan Salmon and her three children, Richard, Sarah and Jamie and daughter Candice Tudor. He will also be missed by many loving relatives too numerous to count.

Paul’s family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for his close family and friends on Saturday August 16th at 2:00 – 4:00pm at his home 13 Maplewood Estate, Strathmore, AB. Please reach out to his daughter Shaynne (text if possible) at 403-901-4751 with any questions.
