Hussin,William Edward 

William (Bill) Hussin passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, at the age of 93. Bill was born on March 7, 1932, in Alhambra, Alberta, and lived a life filled with family, horses, farming, and community.

Bill grew up in the Rocky Mountain House area and throughout his life lived in Alhambra, Rosebud, Standard, and Strathmore, spending many winters in Yuma. His love for horses was a lifelong passion—he was known for training, breeding, riding, and driving horses, and his skill as a teamster was widely respected and fondly remembered. He was known for his hijinks and fun and love of helping out anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joyce (née Nicklassen); daughter Connie; son-in-law Darrell; daughter-in-law Natasha; grandchildren Chad (Karen), Todd (Chantelle), Ashlee (Shawn), and Dustin (Stephanie); and great-grandchildren Macy, Morgan, Clara, Brooke & Morgan. He was predeceased by his children Patricia (Jesse), Clinton, and Karen, as well as his brother Ken.

A memorial service and sharing of stories was held June 7, 2025.
