Marcia Diane Ginn, affectionately known as Marcy to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, in Bashaw, Alberta. Born on April 7, 1938, in Toronto, Ontario, Marcy was a beacon of kindness and gentleness throughout her 87 years of life.

Marcy was the cherished daughter of the late Shirley and Matt Gill. She was predeceased by her husband Reg, brother Don and sister Marilyn. Her memory will be kept alive by her devoted sisters, Sheila and Pat.

Marcy’s legacy is carried on through her children, Dave, Gord (Anita), Mike (Tammy), and Carole (Glen). She was a proud grandmother to Benjamin (Chantal), Jayne (Zeke), and Anna, and a great-grandmother to Lucy, Hardy, and Maggie, who brought her immeasurable joy.

Marcy’s gentle demeanor was the hallmark of her character. Marcy will be deeply missed, but her legacy of kindness and gentle grace will endure in the hearts of her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Strathmore United Church at 2:00 p.m.
