July 26, 1946 – October 16, 2024

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Dwight Stanford announce his passing on October 16, 2024, at the Peter Lougheed Hospital, at the age of 78.

Dwight will be remembered by his children, Cameron (Nichole) Stanford, Kyle (Jan) Stanford, Diane (late Ryan) Campbell, Michelle (Ben) Tatlow, Graham (Ann) Stanford, David (Heidi) Stanford, Sheldon (Tawsha) Stanford and Clark (Cassie) Stanford. Dwight is also survived by his 31 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  

Dwight was not only a wonderful father but also a true friend and mentor to many. His unwavering dedication to our community in Strathmore, Alberta and his countless contributions to his church will always be remembered. Thank you to everyone who supported our family during this difficult time. 

The Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Strathmore Chapel, on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 1:00 pm. The address is 60 Maplewood Dr, Strathmore, AB. Everyone is welcome.
