It is with profound sadness; we announce the passing of Sharon.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Lynda Schiffner (Gene Taylor), granddaughter Shaelee Schiffner and her sister Colleen (Bill Weisgarber), nephews Aaron and Adrian, niece Danielle (Matt Tanner) and great nephew Callum.

Sharon is predeceased by her son Robin Schiffner and her husband Gerald Blanchard.

We would like to extend our sincerest thank to Dr. Sader, and to all the staff at the Strathmore Hospital for their care and kindness.

As per Sharon’s wishes, there will not be a formal funeral service, instead we would like you to please join us for a Celebration of Life and coffee party on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Wheatland Funeral Chapel, 202 Lakeside Blvd, Strathmore.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
