Local hits the stage

Strathmore’s own Robin Murray is staring in the production of Ride the Cyclone, the Musical, set to hit the stage at various times between Aug. 11-26.

Presented by Brown Cow Collective – a Calgary-based theatre company – the show will be held at the DM Maschke Farms in Olds, Alta.

Murray, who plays the role of Mischa, a Ukrainian rapper, also took part in the company’s show Hair, the Musical.

Ride the Cyclone will run nightly Aug. 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26 at 8 p.m., while the 2 p.m. matinees will run Aug. 12, 13, 19 and 20.
