LASSITER,Robert Stanley (Stan)

Stan was born at Chin, Alberta, the fifth child of O.B. and Alice Lassiter. 

He was pre-deceased by his sisters, Dorothy Mildred Nelson and Ileane Patricia Reimer; parents, O.B. and Alice Lassiter; nephew, Eric Reimer; niece, Natalie Lassiter; brothers-in-law, Glen Schelske, Roy Nelson, Ernie Ferguson and Niels Jensen, Jake and Abe Reimer. 

He is survived by his sisters, Nina Irene Juanita Jensen, Tobi Hentze (Karl), Caral Beagle (Ivan), Judy Schelske (Glen), Dianna Lynne Lassiter (Jim Powelsland); by his brothers, Leonard Lassiter and Byron Lassiter (Marlene); and by his wife, Ruth Lassiter and six children, Barry, Connie, Robert, Kent, Brenda and Darrel. 

Stan’s brothers and sisters will gather at the “Dennys” on McKnight Blvd. and Edmonton Trail, Calgary, on Monday, August 29 at 4 p.m. to honour his memory.
