CAVENY,Herbert (Bert) Roy

February 18, 1929 – September 16, 2022

Bert passed away suddenly at the Sagewood Care facility in Strathmore on September 16, 2022 at the age of 93.

He was a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret Alice Emily Caveny, in 2017.

Bert was passionate and skilled about so many interests including travel, flying his Luscombe, hunting and carpentry. Many times, there was someone at his door asking how to fix something or build something for them.

Bert is survived by his children Mark Caveny, Patti Kilpatrick (Lloyd), Marilee Hunt (Barrie) and Wendy Attwell (Dan), daughter-in-law Penny Caveny; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Vera Walker.

He was predeceased by his son Terry James Caveny (2022), daughter-in-law Marie Caveny (2021), grandson Myles Caveny, son-in-law Ronald French and infant son Neil Caveny.
