It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Steve at the Strathmore Hospital on May 8, 2021 at the age of 63 years. Steve is survived by his loving family; his wife Terry; sons Richard and Cody; brothers Aubrey (Kim) and Stuart (Teresa); sisters Sue (Danny) and Althea; as well as many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his father Lawrence; his mother Allie; and his sister Penny. Steve’s memory will be cherished for his kindness, passion for hunting and fishing, and his sense of humour. He was born in Fredericton, NB in 1957. He left home in 1973 and travelled to Winnipeg, MB where he met his wife in 1974. They were married in 1981 and moved to Calgary where they lived until 1999, and finally moving to Strathmore, AB. Due to current restrictions, a celebration of Steve’s life will be held at a later date with information announced in 2022. Special thanks to Dr. Sader and the staff at Valley Medical Centre and the Dr’s and staff at Strathmore Hospital for allowing our 2 sons and myself to be with Steve in his room until his passing. Finally, thank you to all our family and friends who have reached out to us through our difficult years battling the illnesses that Steve has beaten.
