Strathmore man faces multiple drug charges

A local man is facing multiple drug charges after being arrested by Strathmore RCMP.

Trevor Berger, 42, has been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking after being arrested on March 12.

The arrest was the culmination of a six-month investigation by Strathmore RCMP and the Strathmore RCMP General Investigation Section. Street-level quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and drug-related paraphernalia were seized in the arrest.

A judicial hearing was held, and Berger was then released on a promise to pay $2,500. He is scheduled to appear in Strathmore Provincial Court on April 6.
