A multi-unit RCMP force made a large bust at a property located east of Strathmore last week.
Members of the Strathmore RCMP and the RCMP Southern Alberta Auto Theft Unit, with the support of the Gleichen RCMP, executed search warrants at a property near the intersection of Highway 561 and Highway 1, on June 3 and 4.
A large quantity of stolen property including several vehicles, trailers, industrial equipment, firearms and other property, with an estimated total value of $500,000, was recovered by police.
A Wheatland County resident, who was not named and remains in police custody, was charged with property and firearms related offences.
The investigation and efforts to track down ownership of the recovered items are still underway, according to the RCMP.
