Chris Malone beloved husband of Veronica Malone passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2020 at the age of 55.
Besides his wife Veronica, Chris is survived by his 2 daughters Jacqueline (Travis Hoyme) and Jenessa (Josh Makeiv) of Lethbridge; granddaughters Rhyan and Willow; mother Valerie Malone (Lothar Radtke) of Strathmore and two brothers Derek Malone (Kim) of Spruce Grove and Deane Malone (Danielle Petitclerc) of Strathmore as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by his father Patrick Malone of Strathmore.
Chris was born on October 12, 1964 to Patrick and Valerie Malone in Pincher Creek, Alberta. Their family relocated throughout Canada with Patrick and Valerie being in the Air Force.
They settled in Strathmore where Chris completed school and eventually moved to Calgary. He was a meat cutter for many years with Calgary Co-Op before meeting the love of his life, Veronica. Chris and Veronica got married October 24, 1987 and had two daughters, Jacqueline and Jenessa. They moved to Lethbridge in 1993 and a short time after, Chris started his career at Totem Building Supplies where he excelled at his job for 18 years.
A few years later Chris settled into a new job at AGI Nobleford and he and Veronica moved to Coalhurst. He truly loved his job and the friendships he developed over the years at AGI, and his coworkers were like family to him.
Chris was a dedicated family man who spent his time with his family, his precious granddaughters and his beloved dog Bruce. He loved his motorcycle and the feeling of freedom and peace that his rides would give him. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, amazing sense of humour and his selflessness towards everyone he came in contact with.
Chris’ wish was for no funeral service, instead his wish was for his friends and family to celebrate the wonderful life he had and for many smiles, laughs and memories to be shared.
