Yule, Eileen Belle (Nelson)
October 20, 1930 – September 17, 2019

Eileen was born in Cardston, AB the middle daughter of Clarence & Maggie Nelson.
She attended Shamrock school then moved to the dorm in Cluny with her friend Anne Buxton, later she moved to Calgary where she worked in a flower shop for a short time before she moved back to the Gleichen area.
Eileen’s first date with Glendale was at the Bassano Rodeo. They were married June 17, 1950 and farmed north of Gleichen until Glens passing, Eileen lived on the farm for 67 years before she moved to Strathmore. The last year she lived with Sharon & Dennis who welcomed her into their home.
Granny Yule loved horses over the years she owned many race horses. She passed her love of horses on to many of her grandkids & great grandkids she spent many hours teaching them to ride, watching them ride their horses and helping them search for the prefect horse.
Granny Yule’s house was a favourite place to visit for everyone she was always up for a visit with a cup of tea she enjoyed spending time with her children & great grandchildren she was often seen driving her golf cart around giving rides to the great grandchildren when they visited and was happy to attend any event that her grandkids were involved in.
Granny loved to travel, and was lucky to go to Scotland & The Kentucky Derby as well as many road trips with her kids, grandkids & great-grandkids.
Eileen was predeceased by her Husband Glendale, Her Parents Clarence & Maggie. She is survived by her children Anne Marie Yule, Mike (Sherrie) Yule, Stan Yule, Randy Yule; grandchildren Jason DelGuercio, Samantha (Bob) McAndrews, Troy ( Tasha) Young, Jeff ( Stephanie) Yule, Wes ( Kelsey) Yule, Coltan (Katie) Yule, Dallas (Mara) Yule, Scott Yule, Twylla ( Wes) Reid; great-grandchildren Luke DelGuercio, Marley & Maggie McAndrews, Samuel & Ella Young, Payton, Taylor & Sawyer Yule, Cash & Piper Yule, Cj & Casen Yule, Tyler, Elisha, Olivia Yule, Ashtin & Hailli Reid.
A Celebration of Eileen’s life was held at Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Chapel, 1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
