VANDER VELDE, Donald Martin

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Martin Vander Velde on September 11, 2019. Don is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Florence; his sons, Shaun (Arlana), Mike (Leah) and Scott (Tamara); 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother Allan (Linda), numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. As per Don’s request there will be a Celebration of Life, which will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019, at Carseland Community Hall at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Wheatland & Area Hospice Society (WAHS) at Box 2154, Strathmore, AB T1P 1K2, or online at wheatlandhospice.ca.
