Strathmore and area residents can have their name attached to the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre in perpetuity, as part of the Wall of Fame initiative.
The Wall of Fame is a recognition program to honour individuals, families and businesses that have been instrumental in supporting the enhancements of the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre.
According to Ty Tomasta, Town of Strathmore communications ambassador, the program was launched to also help raise funds to support the Strathmore Motor Products Sports Centre and its programs.
“The Wall of Fame recognizes those individuals or businesses who have given a monetary donation and offers an opportunity for people to permanently become a part of a historic Strathmore building,” he said.
A minimum donation of $250 is required to receive a plaque. Due to current space limitations, only 100 plaques will be sold.
The Wall of Fame will be located in the Sports Centre just beyond the foyer in between the washrooms.
