Strathmore’s Florist is under new ownership.
In their present business location for 19 years, the 39-year-old business’s stunning flower assortment, beautiful arrangements, handtied bouquets, gift items and personal service have satisfied many customers.
While that trend, store hours, and current staff will continue in a similar manner, the florist is now under new ownership.
Long-time owners Brian and Linda Code said they wish two things during this transition. The first, that the new owners are a success in the local floral industry; and second, that the staff continues to do well.
The name of the business will remain the same – Strathmore’s Florist – and will be managed by Joline Scobie.
The new company owns three other flower shops: Okotoks Flowers and Things in Okotoks, and Kensington Florist and Charlotte’s Web Florists in Calgary.
Scobie said Strathmore’s Florist will continue to value community involvement, service excellence and the integrity that Linda and Brian Code created.
Scobie also assures public of ongoing prompt service. As well, arrangements for weddings, proms, corporate events, holidays and funerals, plus gifts, gift baskets, plants and free floral consultations are also available by phone or online at strathmoresflorist.com.
