HALL, Norma Joyce
May 20, 1930 – March 23, 2019

Our mom passed away peacefully at Strathmore Hospital on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the age of 88 years.
Mom was born May 20, 1930 in Bassano, Alberta and was raised on the family farm. She was the third oldest of 11 children, so she was busy helping with farm work and siblings. She moved to Calgary and worked for Burns Foods, then met the love of her life, Lyle, who she spent 50 years with. She worked for Calgary Co-op for 30 years which she enjoyed immensely. She loved camping, bingo and going to the casino. Her family meant everything to her, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mom is survived and lovingly remembered by her children Ron (Lynn) Hall, Gayle (Ernie) Hall and Brenda (Don Gauthier). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Shannon (Stuart) Hanley, Kaley (Travis) Preston, Matthew and Michael Hall and Christie, Ryan (Erin) and Cody Gauthier. And by her Great Grandchildren Chloe and Alexis Hanley, Dylan, Alayna and Jordyn Preston, and Easton, Kowen and Annastyn Gauthier.
Mom was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Lyle in 2002, her parents, two brothers Ken Sandum and Gordon Sandum and four sisters Bernice Blake, Clare Myers, Lil Dundas and Joanne Kaska.
The family would like to thank all those who cared for mom, her Doctor Dr. Ward Fannning, and other doctors, nurses and staff at the Strathmore Hospital.
Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of life at Hope Covenant Church. 245-Brent Blvd. Strathmore, Alberta, on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
