CRAWSHAW, John Dougles “Jack”
December 4, 1938 – January 9, 2019

It is with great sadness that Jack’s family announces his passing at Strathmore Hospital at age 80 after a courageous battle with cancer and COPD. Jack with be lovingly remembered by his wife, Pat, and by Cathie (Rick), Elena, Jim (Yim), and many other family members who loved him. Jack enjoyed many years of volunteering with Legion and seniors in the community. Previously, he was with the Armed Forces from 1956 – 1972 and held the position of Deputy Director of Operations with the Calgary Remand Centre. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10 (230 2 Ave, Strathmore) at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations directly to the Poppy Fund (Strathmore Royal Canadian Legion, Box 2141, Strathmore, AB., T1P 1K1 Attn: Poppy Fund).
