Braves and Chiefs remain undefeated

The Wheatland Chiefs and the Wheatland Braves both remain undefeated early in the South Central Alberta Hockey League season.
The midget Chiefs improved to 3-0-1 after a 3-3 draw versus the Medicine Hat Hounds on Oct. 11 at the Strathmore Family Centre. The Chiefs will now travel to Airdrie on Oct. 19 (7:30 p.m.) before hosting Olds the following day (1:30 p.m.) at the Strathmore Family Centre.
Meanwhile, after racking up four wins to start the season, the peewee Braves will return to action on Oct. 19 (4:45 p.m.) when they host Medicine Hat Black at the Strathmore Family Centre.
Warriors rebound
After suffering their first loss of the season, the Wheatland Warriors rebounded with a huge win the following day, improving their regular season record to 5-1-1.
The local double-A bantam team lost 3-2 on the road on Oct. 12 to the Foothills Bisons, before picking up a 4-3 win the following day versus Okotoks at the Strathmore Family Centre.
The Warriors will return to action with their lone weekend game on Oct. 18 (7:30 p.m.) when they once again host the Okotoks Oilers at the Strathmore Family Centre.
