May 18, 1927 – June 8, 2018

On Friday June 8, 2018, Mr. Don McMeekin of Rockyford, Alberta passed away in the Strathmore hospital at the age of 91 years following a lengthy illness. Don was predeceased by his mother, Violet; father, Gordon; brothers, Al, Stan and Grant; and sister, Violet. He is survived by his partner of 30 years, Roberta; as well as family members, Dianne, Crystal and Mark. He is also survived by his sister, Irene in Toronto and many nieces and nephews in Toronto and Calgary. Don will be sadly missed by his family and friends, especially his good friends Elaine and Keith. A special thanks to Dr. Fanning and staff at the Strathmore Hospital. A cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.
