By Brad Everett Times Contributor
There is a full slate of activities scheduled for the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) Holiday Train’s stop at Gleichen-Siksika Dec. 7 at 9:55 p.m.
People will be able to watch the concert from the field adjacent to the CPR track along Railway Street at 2nd Avenue. The roughly half-hour concert will feature performances by Terri Clark, Sierra Noble and Kelly Prescott.
The Gleichen Hall Board, Siksika Health Services and Wheatland County are working together for this event that will benefit both Siksika Nation and the Wheatland County Food Bank.
CPR will also be making a donation to each food bank as part of their stop.
At 7 p.m., the Gleichen hall will open for those interested in shopping from vendors who will have a variety of items for sale. There will be entertainment as well, with native dancers and drummers, and music provided by the regular participants of the Gleichen Hall jam sessions.
