It is with sadness that Gordon’s family announce his peaceful passing at the Garrison Green Nursing Home on January 14, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by Elsie, his wife of 51 years; his children Dale (Debbie), Keith (Janell), Neil (Angela), Colleen (Adam) and Lisa (Mike); thirteen grandchildren Carissa (Tom), Kirsten, Evinn, Mackenzie, Dustin, Jordan, Rori, Dylan, Cole, Katelyn, Isabelle, Sam and Ava; his sister Christine; sisters-in-law Joan, Gail and Sharon; and thirteen nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Anna and Kristian; and brothers Fred, Lars and Roy. Gordon grew up and farmed in the Hussar area for the first 70 years of his life, and retired to Calgary in 2000. Farming and family were his passions in life, and his family will miss him dearly.
