Woodward, Gladys Ann

Woodward, Gladys Ann of Strathmore, Alberta, beloved wife of Doug Woodward of 54 years passed away peacefully on October 15, 2016 at the age of 72 with a long battle with COPD.
Gladys was born in Boissevain, Manitoba on June 26, 1944. Besides her husband Doug, Gladys is survived by daughter Kathy Woodward and two brothers Lester and Dalwyn (Gail) Pratt. Predeceased by daughter Brenda Dheilly, Parents Norman and Viola Pratt, brothers Clifford, Harry, Gordy, William and Glen Pratt.
Gladys enjoyed every job she had but most of all she enjoyed driving an eighteen wheeler. Gladys and Doug trucked for several years together.
Gladys will also be missed by sister-in-laws Lil McIntyre and Bonnie (Pete) Souque, several nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren and many friends.

Gladys donated her body to Science (The University of Calgary). No funeral.

A Celebration of life will be held at the home of Doug and Gladys – 844 Brentwood Crescent on Saturday October 22 from 1 to 5 pm. Come and go as you please. Dress comfortable.
