SOCH, Herbert Richard

Herb Soch of Strathmore Alberta, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at the Sagewood Seniors Community, Strathmore on June 16, 2016 at the age of 92 years. Herb will be lovingly remembered by his children, Joy Schneider of Wainwright, Norm Birkholtz of Fairview, Doreen Fiveland of Leduc, Lorna (Graeme) Bentley of Calgary, and Vern (Marilyn) Soch of Strathmore; his sisters Gladys Miske and Hertha Foster of Edmonton along with twelve grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Tonie, his brother Gerhard and sister Ruth as well as numerous other family members. He loved camping, hunting, playing cards, fishing and golfing. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the staff at the Strathmore Continuing Care and Sagewood Seniors Community.
