ZARAZUN, Ernest “Ernie” James
September 12, 1944 – October 13, 2015

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ernie on October 13, 2015. Ernie was the youngest of 11 children born to Joseph and Pauline Zarazun. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Shirley; his children Tracey (Grant) Howse, Brenda (Reg) Chernoff, Melodie Ancheta, and Liana (Rob) Zavislak; grandchildren Matt (Shawna) Borg, Jeremy Borg, Kyle Allen, Breanna Zavislak, Jenna Allen, Brayden Zavislak, and Aliera Chernoff; great-grandson Jaxon Borg; sisters Josie Matsalla and Mary (Vic) Rieger; brothers Stan (Joyce) Zarazun and Adam (Bev) Zarazun; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Pauline and siblings Ed, John, Agnes, Carl, Vickie and Steve. A celebration of life will be held in Strathmore, Alberta on November 7, 2015, please contact Shirley for details.
