Stewart, Florence “Fluffy” Irene

Stewart, Florence “Fluffy” Irene, of Strathmore, Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away on August 28, 2015 at the age of 90 years.
She is survived by her 7 daughters and 1 son, Sharon Herr (Albert), Terry Stewart (Dagmar) Susan Doble, Irene Bastian (Paul), Ruby Burkosky (Brian) Dixie Stewart, Sandy Chrapko (Ivan), and Wendy Davidson. Florence is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Bruce Stewart (Mona), Charles Stewart, and Sev Pasoli. She is also survived by 20 plus grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Florence was predeceased by her infant daughter, Trudy Gay, her husband, Gordon (Sonny) Stewart, her parents, Earl and Elsie House, her mother and father in-law Elva and Gordon Stewart, her sisters Laura Palmer and Lavina Jensen, as well as all but one of her sisters-in law.
The Memorial Service will be held September 6, 2015 at the Strathmore Legion at 12 pm. with inurnment to follow at 4:00 pm at the Champion cemetery where she will rest with her infant daughter and husband.
Thanks to the staff at Sagewood Community Centre in Strathmore who appreciated Florence’s sense of humour and who were so kind to her this past two years. Also thanks to Dr. Alison Clarke for her continuing care.
