It has been a wonderful year of learning and growing here at the Strathmore Times. It is with great sorrow I announce that I will be leaving the paper for another job in Calgary. I’m so appreciative for all of the connections I’ve formed here; at what other job could you run with the bulls, interview Hailey Wickenheiser, and watch the Bisons rise through the AMHL season? The Town of Strathmore was so kind to me – a hard-nosed Torontonian – and will always hold a special place in my heart. A special recognition to the staff here at the Times for making coming into work not feel like work at all, and for providing a young, ambitious reporter her first start. 

All the best, good luck, and keep a lookout for me in the future – I’ll do you proud.
