Infant found unresponsive, later pronounced dead

On May 25 a nine-month-old girl was found unresponsive in her home. EMS did what they could for the infant, but she was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. 
An autopsy to try and determine the cause of death was performed by the Calgary Medical Examiner on May 26. 
As of June 2 the Medical Examiner was still working on the report, and did advise that further testing has been done to look into how the evidence lines up. 
The RCMP Major Crimes, Gleichen RCMP and other support services are continuing their investigation. Further details will be released once known.
