Aggie Days in Carseland is fast approaching, and once again the community would love to see people come out and take part in the festivities.
Aggie Days is being held June 20- 22, and this year promises to be as fun as ever.
“This year we added the cabaret to make sure we cover something for everyone, so now kids and families can have fun together on Friday with the DJ dance and on Saturday night parents can get out for some fun of their own,” said Jennifer Wiebe, who is doing PR for the event.
The weekend starts with the ball tournament on June 20 at 5 p.m. There will be a section for ball players to camp. The tradeshow also opens at 5 p.m. and the family DJ dance begins at 6 p.m. at the Carseland Community Hall.
Saturday is a busy, yet fun-filled day for everyone, starting with breakfast being served by the Carseland Public Benefit Club at 8 a.m. and the parade at 9 a.m. The trade show for the day will also open at 9 a.m. and the midway gets up and running at noon.
All day long there will be a show and shine for the car enthusiasts and a tractor pull at 2 p.m. There’s no need to leave for dinner Saturday night – the Lions Club will cooking up plenty of grub during the BBQ at 6 p.m., and Sykamore will be providing live entertainment for the crowd. That night there will also be fun for just the adults with the cabaret starting at 10 p.m. The entertainment will be provided by Shake House and sponsored by Jak’d.
Sunday, June 22 wraps up with the ball tournament finishing their final games. There will be a free breakfast provided by the Carseland Firefighters Association. There will also be a Sunday service offered by Bow River Alliance Church.
“This community sells itself, once people come party with us Carselander’s, they tend to make this place their second home,” said Wiebe.
